Bio

Leslie Korein was born a small human baby in Philadelphia, PA. She soon moved to New York and developed fine motor skills, cognitive reasoning and language*. She grew up and attended Oberlin College where she fostered her love of theater and self-analysis. After moving back to New York, she began performing improv at the Magnet Theater, most recently with Trike, her Time Out NY Critics' Pick improv trio. After several succesful Off-Broadway shows, Leslie moved to LA to pursue the shining lights of the big and small screen.

Leslie also acts, directs and teaches with The Story Pirates, a nationally respected bicoastal arts and creative writing organization, and also cowrote and starred in the sapphic love musical, Girl Camp, which recently ran at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NY.

Leslie is a writer, actor and improviser and has won several awards for her short films. In the last 3 years, she has performed both at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and The Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, and shared the stage with Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Kristen Schaal, Reggie Watts, Edie McClurg and some of the best improvisers in the country.

*Leslie has never developed gross motor skills.
