Bio

Leslie Korein was born a tiny baby in Philadelphia, PA. After developing fine motor skills, cognitive reasoning and language*, Leslie moved to New York and began performing with Trike, The Story Pirates and wrote the musical Girl Camp which recently ran at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Several things happened in between.

Leslie is a writer, actor and improviser and has won several awards for her short films. She is extremely grateful to have shared the stage and screen with Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Kristen Schaal, Reggie Watts, The NY NeoFuturists and some of the best improvisers in New York City. In 2009, she performed both at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and The Geffen Playhouse in LA with The Story Pirates. She knows, she couldn't believe it either!

Leslie performs every Saturday at the Magnet Theater with her improv trio, Trike, a recent TONY Critics Pick. She also performs, directs and teaches with The Story Pirates, a nationally respected arts education organization . Leslie tours with her improv duo, Leslian, to teach improv workshops at colleges in the Northeast.
