Leslie Korein

Bio

Leslie Korein is an actor, writer and director from New York living in Los Angeles. She graduated from Oberlin College and has been improvising for over 15 years, performing at and training with The Magnet Theater, Upright Citizens' Brigade and The Groundlings. She's been a director, teaching artist and puppeteer for bicoastal arts ed organization THE STORY PIRATES for over a decade and has toured with them around the country.

Leslie starred as the titular character in the hit show, TONYA HARDING THE MUSICAL at Upright Citizens' Brigade in LA and was a staff writer on Smosh's show PART TIMERS. The short film she wrote and starred in THE NEW 35 won BEST ROMANTIC COMEDY at the Atlanta ShortsFest, and BEST SHORT, BEST PICTURE and BEST ACTRESS at SISFA, and is currently available on Amazon Prime. The short film she directed THE OPENERS won BEST SHORT at the Broad Humor Film Festival.
